Who processes the data

The data controller is the operator of the game, company ID 29844244.

What we store

• A random game identifier. Your browser creates it the first time you play and keeps it in the browser's storage (localStorage). It contains no name, no e-mail and nothing else that would tell anyone who you are.
• Your guesses. With the identifier we store your answer to each question, its score and when it was sent.
• Shared results. If you share a day's result, we store it under a random link so that the link can be opened.
• Nothing else. The game has no accounts and never asks for a name or an e-mail. It uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking.

We do not store your IP address or write it to any log. The server holds it in memory only, for at most a minute, to limit how many requests one address can make and so protect the game from being flooded.

Why, and on what basis

We need this data for the game to work: to work out your score, to allow one answer per question, and to show statistics across all players. Those statistics are anonymous and never show any one player's answers.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the game and protecting it from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

The identifier is kept in your browser because the game you opened cannot work without it. Storage of that kind needs no consent (section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, implementing the ePrivacy Directive), which is why the game does not ask for one.

How long we keep it

We keep guesses and shared results for as long as the game runs, because they make up each day's statistics. We delete them sooner if you ask. The database is backed up regularly so that nothing is lost if something breaks; data we have deleted then remains only in those backups, which are used for nothing but recovering from a failure.

Who has access

Only the operator of the game. We do not sell the data or pass it to anyone. The server the game runs on is operated by a hosting provider as our processor, which does not handle the data in any other way.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for its processing to be restricted and for it to be transferred, and the right to object to its processing. If you believe we process data unlawfully, you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz) or the authority where you live.
